Our Story
Nascent EV Battery Infrastructure Private Limited (CIN: U52219WB2024PTC273494) is a company, a DPIIT recognized start-up and a registered MSME incorporated in September 2024 to cater the need of establishing charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in India. The company's plan revolves around promoting green initiatives, minimizing/restricting (to the extent possible) the risks of climate change and aims to be a significant promoter of driving EV adoption in India.
We, at Nascent, have decided not to be okay with the GHG emission numbers and have chosen a specific contributor, which is transportation, to help solve the GHG emission problem and help our mother nation reach her net-zero target. It is notable that although the number of EVs are increasing in India, number of non-EVs are also increasing which in turn will contribute more to pollution and climate change. Till end of October 2024, the ratio of registered EV and charging stations stands at 1:203, which is way less than the par, ultimately discouraging many of us to buy an EV.
At Nascent, we believe in sustainability, reducing our carbon footprint and therefore we come in as a public EV charging point operator and provider of EV charging infrastructure to businesses. Nascent is starting its operations in Pune as part of its Phase-I Maharashtra plan.
